In this third week, we're starting to get into the higher level concepts of the sport. We will be exploring rhythm and angle changes. You'll see this week's concepts are all moving beyond mechanics. By this week, we are assuming a level of confidence on the mechanics of the drills. Instead, we are focusing on the intention of each drill. What makes the difference to actually learning and applying what you drill is what you visualize and understanding the intention. Why are you throwing a 1-2, what are you slipping, what is the opponent doing? Please make sure you watch all the videos below to make sure that you're gaining the insight.
Please complete the warm-up before starting. We are introducing a plyometric movement in the warm-up now as we start to move a lot more and for more and more rounds. Please don't skip the warm-up, it's crucial for injury prevention and long-term health.
